Yes - A visa is required for travel to Tonga

A valid passport and business visa are required to travel to Tonga.

Passport Requirements:

Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay in Tonga, with at least one blank passport page available for a Tonga visa stamp. Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Tonga visas.


Tonga Visa Application Form:

One Tonga visa application form per applicant properly completed, including declaration page, and signed. After placing your order, fill out the application form included in your Visa Application Kit.


Photo Requirements:

Two recent 2 x 2 passport type photographs, in color, front view and with a plain/white background.

OR - you can upload a photo when you place your order, instead of providing physical passport photos.


Other Forms:

Two character references from two individuals who have known the applicant for a significant period of time (referee's full contact details must be provided and will be verified by the visa officer).


Official Invitation:

Official invitation from the Ministry of Labour, Commerce & Industries (MLCI).


Proof of Travel Arrangements:

Computer generated flight itinerary from the airline or travel agency or copy of airline tickets.


Criminal Record:

A National Police Clearance issued in the past 3 months.


Medical Requirements:

A medical report (in accordance with prescribed Tonga Health Form) issued within past 6 months by a medical practitioner approved by Tonga immigration.


Other Requirements:

Copies of all visa supporting documents, including information pages of passport, are required and must be submitted along with originals.
