Tonga Visa Application Form:
One visa application form per applicant properly completed, including declaration page, and signed. Signature must be original on each application. Improperly completed forms may delay the processing of your visa.
Two recent 2 x 2 passport type photographs, in color, front view and with a plain/white background.
OR - you can upload a passport photo to the Global Service Order Form when you place your order, instead of providing physical passport photos.
Two character references from two individuals who have known the applicant for a significant period of time (referee's full contact details must be provided and will be verified by the visa officer).
Official Invitation from Tonga:
Official invitation from the Ministry of Labour, Commerce & Industries (MLCI).
Proof Of Departure:
Computer generated flight itinerary from the airline or travel agency or copy of airline tickets.
A National Police Clearance issued in the past 3 months.
A medical report (in accordance with prescribed Tonga Health Form) issued within past 6 months by a medical practitioner approved by Tonga immigration.
Copies of all visa supporting documents, including information pages of passport, are required and must be submitted along with originals.

In order to ensure that visa applications for most embassies/consulates are submitted on the day that we receive them, they should be shipped to us via FedEx Priority Overnight (not First Overnight or Standard Overnight).
Non-refundable tickets or reservations should not be purchased until all visas and passports are secured and in your possession.
A visa is not required in advance to visit Tonga for a stay of up to one month. The traveler must be in possession of a passport valid for 6 months beyond stay and a round-trip or onward ticket as well as sufficient funds for the duration of stay.
A visa is not required for transit through Tonga. The traveler must be in possession of a passport valid for 6 months beyond travel dates, a round-trip or onward ticket, and a valid visa for the next destination (if required).

A letter of intent outlining the applicant's purpose of travel to Tonga, the length of intended stay in Tonga, name of places to be visited, contact information in Tonga, and accommodation information.
Letter Of Invitation from Tonga:
An original letter of invitation from the sponsor in Tonga explaining the relationship to the applicant and the purpose of travel to Tonga. In addition, the letter must indicate the length of stay, place of stay, and host's name and contact information.
Police report or good conduct record provided by local police department.
A letter from a doctor certifying that the applicant is in good health and fit to travel abroad.
Tonga Visa Processing Time:
Approval must be received from the government in Tonga in order for this visa to be issued. Processing time will vary depending on when the approval is received by the consulate.
